The ideal candidate is a strong technical leader with expertise in cloud technologies, software architecture, agile delivery, and team development.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & Solution DeliveryPartner with product and business stakeholders to understand organizational objectives and translate requirements into actionable technology solutions.Lead the planning, design, and delivery of scalable, cloud-native applications, APIs, and platform services.Define technical architecture, system design artifacts, process flows, and integration strategies to support business initiatives.Guide development teams in building secure, reliable, and high-performance applications using modern software engineering practices.Establish and promote engineering standards, coding best practices, API governance, and architectural consistency across platforms.Lead technical design reviews and ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and maintainability requirements.Support backlog grooming, effort estimation, prioritization, and roadmap planning in collaboration with product and delivery teams.Develop and evaluate proof-of-concept solutions to assess emerging technologies and drive innovation.Optimize application performance through code profiling, database tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.Build reusable frameworks, libraries, and shared services that improve engineering productivity and standardization.Ensure robust testing strategies, quality assurance practices, and defect prevention measures are embedded within the development lifecycle.Oversee application monitoring, operational readiness, platform reliability, and incident response activities.Cloud, DevOps & Platform OperationsCollaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and DevOps teams to support deployment pipelines and operational excellence.Manage platform health, availability, reliability, and performance metrics.Support cloud capacity planning, infrastructure optimization, and resource utilization strategies.Ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities and adherence to enterprise security standards.Drive continuous improvement in deployment processes, release management, and system observability.People Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, coach, and develop engineers to support both technical and professional growth.Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.Support talent acquisition activities, including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.Manage team performance, career development planning, and succession strategies.Encourage adoption of agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices across engineering teams.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional stakeholders.Documentation & Knowledge SharingCreate and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, development standards, and user guides.Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation practices support ongoing platform maintenance and operational support.Promote engineering excellence through best practice sharing, technical reviews, and team enablement initiatives.RequirementsEducationBachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.ExperienceMinimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, technology development, or related technical roles.Proven experience leading engineering teams and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.Experience managing the planning, prioritization, and execution of software development roadmaps.Demonstrated success designing and implementing scalable, cloud-native applications and platform services.Experience leading end-to-end software delivery across complex technology environments.Technical SkillsStrong hands-on experience with modern programming languages and backend development frameworks.Expertise in API design, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and distributed applications.Experience with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and modern deployment practices.Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.Proficiency with source control systems, code quality tools, performance monitoring, and application observability platforms.Strong understanding of security, scalability, reliability, and performance optimization principles.Leadership CompetenciesExcellent leadership, mentoring, and team-building capabilities.Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
