Junior CollegesScheduled Air TransportationLawn and Garden Equipment and Supplies RetailersOther Transportation Equipment ManufacturingPrivate HouseholdsWork to Existing (W2E) - Associate Field ForepersonJob Category: Construction OperationsLocation: Mahanoy City, PA | Mahanoy City Plant Mahanoy City, PA 17948, USA +1 more locationsDescriptionWork in conjunction with Work to Existing (W2E) Field Foreperson and teams to safely perform all work to existing activities such as plate installation, sawcutting, scrap removal, patching, caulking removal and replacement including miscellaneous activities work to existing department works on.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Work in conjunction with Foreperson to manage daily jobsite responsibilitiesWork directly with Foreperson to learn all essential duties and responsibilitiesSet an example to the other crew members by consistently following established safety policiesPromote teamwork amongst crew membersLearn all the facets of work to existing activities with Fabcon buildings, other precaster's product and various precast components.Knowledgeable about company policies and proceduresWork in conjunction with the Foreperson to keep supervisors informed on the job's progress and estimate completion datesBasic Qualifications:Minimum of one (1) year direct experience as an erection crew memberMinimum of one (1) year precast experienceExperience with welding and familiarity with general construction practicesValid MVR & DOT required and meets Fabcon's driver expectationsOther Required Qualifications:Ability to navigate various technological devicesAbility to work well with others and maintain professional conduct at all timesPossess excellent work habits and be able to demonstrate them to subordinatesKnowledge of and experience in the use construction equipment (lifts, forklifts, etc.)Knowledgeable about all aspects of performing corrective work on pre-cast buildings including other precaster's products.Ability to effectively communicate with personnel at different levelsAbility to foresee potential problems and take necessary action to prevent the problems from occurringAbility to work in an organized manner and adapt readily to changeAbility to read and interpret shop drawingsPreferred Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentWelding certificationPhysical Requirements:Ability to travel when requiredAbility to work extensive overtime when requiredAbility to work from heightsMust be able to traverse uneven ground, move minimum of 50lbs., spatial awareness/depth perceptionWork Environment: All types of weather conditions (year-round, Mid-west and Northeast), dirt/dust, noise from heavy machinery/vehiclesEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
