The Inside Sales Engineer is a key position within the company, with direct responsibility for supporting the successful sales, marketing and training objectives of the company’s Products and Support offering. This position requires experience in the HVAC industry, excellent organizational skills, verbal and written customer relation skills as well as proficiency with computers, word processing, spreadsheets and industry specific software programs. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:• Customer Service is your # 1 responsibility!• Open Branch and be ready for business @ 8:00 AM Monday - Friday.• Close Branch @ 5:00 PM Monday - Friday.• Process Customer Sales Orders and Follow-Up with Order Status.• Generate PO’s to vendors for customer orders and stock replenishment.• Promoting the company’s products to existing and prospective customers via telephone and e-mail to generate new customer sales and increase sales to existing customers.• Identify, target and generate sales to new accounts which include mechanical contractors, HVAC contractors and end users.• Assist new and existing customers with the selection of Thermostats, VFD’s, Valves, and Actuators, Dampers, Temperature Controllers and other company core products and services.• Identify potential DDC Systems customers and promote our DDC Systems offering in conjunction with company management.• Assist and Train customers with the following:• Interpreting Job Specifications and Engineered Drawings• Bill of Material Selection, Job Estimating, Proposals• System Design and Engineering• Sequence of Operations• Control & Wiring Diagrams• Submittals• Acquire competitive product information.• Support the execution and implementation of sales and marketing plans.• Process Warranty Claims.• Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
