Lead After-School Staff – Sam Adams Elementary
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:15 PM – 6:15 PM
Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours
Preferred Qualifications:
21 years or older
Experience working with children in a group setting
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Willingness to obtain CPR & First Aid certification (we cover the training!)
Reliable, punctual, and able to manage daily program operations
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily after-school program operations and ensure a safe, positive environment
Supervise children and support staff; delegate tasks as needed
Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities (games, crafts, enrichment, homework time)
Take accurate attendance and maintain required documentation
Implement behavior management strategies and calmly address conflicts
Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and Camp Fire leadership
Follow all safety, licensing, and emergency procedures
Model positive behavior and create a welcoming, inclusive program culture
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per year
