Master Data Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Master Data Specialist for a 6-month contract engagement. This role will focus heavily on data research, validation, and quality remediation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of critical business data. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills who enjoys investigative data work in a collaborative environment.This is a hybrid opportunity which reports to Wayne, PA.Key Responsibilities:Perform data cleanup and data quality remediation activitiesIdentify and correct missing or inaccurate tax IDsResearch and validate entities to ensure proper identificationVerify and validate nonprofit statusConduct research using a variety of sources, including IRS websites, Chambers of Commerce, Public records and databasesUpdate and maintain accurate party/entity data recordsEnsure consistency and integrity across master data systemsQualifications:Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, or a related data operations roleStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including lookup functions, pivot tables, filtering, and data cleaning techniques)Experience working with MDM tools (e.g., Informatica or similar platforms)Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct independent researchExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsBasic proficiency in SQL or other data querying/manipulation tools preferred
