Diesel Technician/ Mechanic - Ft Worth, TX

Job Description Bulkmatic is seeking a full-time Diesel Technician/ Mechanic for our Fort Worth, TX location.As a technician for Bulkmatic, you will perform maintenance (scheduled and unscheduled) on company owned tractors and trailers,and other equipment as needed / necessary.PAY:Up to $30 per Hour (Based on Experience)Full Benefits SCHEDULE: 1st ShiftMonday-Friday7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Job Requirements MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:Tractor repairsTrailer repairsSupport equipment repairsInspections (scheduled / unscheduled / DOT)DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform inspections on company owned equipmentSign off on DOT inspectionsPerform DOT brake inspections and repairs (air brakes)Repair air conditioning systems as neededCharge parts out into the company's computer systemRead, troubleshoot, and repair electronic diesel enginesRead and understand equipment electrical circuits and diagramsTroubleshoot and repair air brake systemsBe familiar with DOT out-of-service criteriaKnow how to operate a torque wrenchSafely operate shop supplied heavy duty toolsSafely drive company owned equipment REQUIREMENTS At least one year ofexperience in the operation and repair of tractor (class 8), and trailers (air brakes) inspection / repairs within a fleet, state, or federal (including Armed Forces) shop environment.A two year degree with a leading technical college in the repair of diesel engines is preferred.BENEFITSWe offer a comprehensive benefits package to all full time employees including paid vacation and holidays, Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401k with employer match, and life insurance among other benefits.
