We're a close-knit team that values expertise, accountability, and straightforward client relationships.Role OverviewWe're looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage an established small-business book consisting of $2M premium across ~600 policies. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for clients and operate with confidence and independence.Responsibilities and Duties- Manage an active book of small commercial P&C accounts as the primary client contact- Own the renewal service cycle: review applications for accuracy, contact insureds for updated information, present renewal offers, follow up through binding, and handle post-bind review- Review binders and invoices for accuracy; coordinate with accounting as needed- Manage non-renewals: notify insureds, gather information, and remarket affected policies- Process and oversee endorsements, including coverage discussions with insureds on exposure changes, complex additional insured requests, and all non-routine policy modifications- Handle underwriting cancellations and insured-initiated cancellation requests- Manage agency-billed invoicing and audit involvement on large premium differences or disputes- Issue certificates of insurance and process policy changes- Coordinate with and direct CSR and VA staff on account tasks within their scope- Maintain accurate account documentation and correspondence in our AMS- Identify and refer cross-sell opportunities to the producerQualifications- Active Florida 2-20 Property & Casualty license- 3+ years of commercial lines account management experience in an independent agency- Solid working knowledge of small business P&C coverages (BOP, GL, commercial auto, workers' comp)- Ability to manage a high volume of accounts independently and accurately- Familiarity with agency management systems (we'll train on ours)- Strong written and verbal communication skills — clients and carriers bothCompensation & Benefits- Salary: $55-62,000 (commensurate with experience)- Health, dental & vision insurance- Paid Time Off- Supplemental insurance coverage
