Sterile Processing Tech Location: Lexington, KY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,472 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 6 Weeks Start Date: 5/18/2026 About the Position Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 6 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in sterile processing License: Required Certifications: HSPA/CRCST certification Must-Have: Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience Proficient in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, case carts, and scope reprocessing Experience in service lines: Ortho, Neuro, CT, Trauma, Vascular, Oral, Plastics, ENT, and General surgeries Description: This is a contracted position requiring local candidates. Truncated compliance is approved for a quick start. No time off requests will be granted during the first contract. Core exams are required for compliance. No call is required for this position. Candidates must have experience with fiber optics. All candidates must provide detailed service line instrument experience. Preferred experience includes working with neonates, infants, and pediatrics. Excellent customer service skills, attendance, punctuality, and teamwork are essential. Attention to detail and a driven work ethic are required. Compliance requirements include a sterile processing tech competency exam and core exams.
