We help clients with the design, permitting, and construction of their projects.Service Area:Primarily, Napa County has a lot of projects in Solano County, frequent projects in Sonoma and Marin County, and a few projects in the East Bay and San Francisco from time to time.Our VisionWe are a very technology-forward construction company using software, automation, and AI to improve efficiency and client experience. Our goal is to provide structure to the chaos that is typical in construction by providing one of the most streamlined construction experiences imaginable in a fast and cost-efficient manner. We have a goal to expand statewide and eventually nationally with our design and construction services, and really make a change and set new standards for construction and design projects.Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated, experienced, high-performing Design Project manager who has the capability to help us with schedule, subcontractor, building departments and client management of a design project. As a design project manager, your primary responsibility is to manage subcontractors and building departments, review plans for quality, compliance and accuracy, develop schedules, assist in material selections, manage client needs, and to keep all stakeholders in the loop at all times with what is going on for as many as 10-20 projects at any given time spread out between 1-2 Large projects (500k-2M), 1-3 Medium sized projects(100k-500K) and 3-5 Small Projects (100k or Less)Day-to-Day Duties:Review & understand the complete project scope, specifications & quality standards of our company and the ClientDaily logs are completed each day on the project until completion of the projectThe schedule is online and up to date at all times, with follow-ups to all scope assignees as needed per the scheduleCommunicate daily and proactively with PM, Subcontractors, Vendors, and Clients on a daily basis to discuss project issues, progress, requirements, and future goals.Maintain a positive attitude, be the leader of the project, and take full responsibility for the outcome of your projectInspections are being completed and passed Ensure subcontractors and drafters are following guidlinesResolve project obstacles and come up with creative solutionsSubmit for permits and correspond with building departmentsObtain Site measurements and documentionsContact your Project Manager at any time to assist with the project and provide approvalsCreate detailed and accurate Change orders for the project manager's reviewCreate Purchase Orders and Bills for PM to review and upload all Receipts every weekPromote Services. Talk about the services offered by the company and provide contact information.Lead Generation. Always be on the lookout for potential new clients and sales opportunities.Referral Encouragement. Encourage satisfied clients to refer neighbors and friends to the company.Candidates Must Have/Be:6+ years of experience in an equal or higher responsibility roleA CA Driver's LicenseAble to develop architectural blueprints and review other disciplines' plans (Engineering, geo tech, title 24 etc) very confidently"Tech Savvy" and be able to learn and use basic mobile and computer applications and SoftwaresExceptional communication skillsAttention to small detailsProficient drafting skills in autocad, revit etcKnow major international and state building codesHigh-level knowledge in framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fireproofing, waterproofing, and interior/exterior designThe ability to execute tasks quickly and efficientlyAbility to speak and understand Spanish at a basic conversational levelCompensation and work hours:This position is an hourly position, Monday-Friday, 8 am- 5 pm standard site operating hours, with availability requested as needed for the project and schedule needs, including early starts, late starts, and weekend availability when neededProject BonusesHealth BenefitsSales and Commission opportunitiesRapid Position Advancement opportunity
