Social Worker (Contract Role)

We are seeking a (Social Worker) for a 14-week travel/contract assignment in Camden, ME, 04843. Shift: 7:00 AM End: 3:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Weekly Pay Rate: $1400 - $1600 Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations for individuals in need of social services. Provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and counseling to patients and their families. Develop and implement care plans based on patient assessments. Advocate for patients in the healthcare system, coordinating services and resources. Collaborate with healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and other specialists, to ensure holistic patient care. Document patient progress, outcomes, and interventions in compliance with healthcare regulations. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and practices. Provide information and referrals to community resources, including housing, financial assistance, and counseling. Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing professional development. Qualifications: Licensure: Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Maine. Proven experience as a Social Worker, ideally in healthcare or clinical settings. Strong knowledge of social services and community resources. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
