The ideal candidate has at least five years of commercial electrical experience, a strong customer-service mindset, and a clean driving record. This role will perform electrical service, troubleshooting, repair, and installation work at customer job sites while maintaining safety, quality, and professionalism. Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial electrical issues, including lighting, wiring, power distribution, and equipment failuresInstall and upgrade electrical systems, panels, circuits, and controls in commercial facilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipmentRead and interpret electrical blueprints, technical diagrams, and job specificationsProvide clear communication to customers regarding work performed, recommendations, and project scopeMaintain accurate job records, timesheets, and service documentationEnsure work is completed safely and in compliance with NEC, state, and local codesOperate company vehicle safely while transporting tools, materials, and equipmentCollaborate with team members, contractors, and project managers as neededParticipate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service (if applicable) Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum 5 years commercial electrical service experience (Journeyman preferred)Strong working knowledge of NEC codes and commercial wiring methodsAbility to lift 50+ pounds, xmcpwfu climb ladders, and perform physical tasks in varying environmentsValid drivers license with a clean driving recordStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and customer-service skillsAbility to pass background check and drug screen (if required) Preferred Skills/TrainingExperience with conduit bending, control systems, and up to 600VExperience in retail, industrial, and facility service environmentsBasic computer/mobile app proficiency for work orders and reportingOSHA 30, NEC
