About the RoleA growing U.S.-based engineering and fabrication company is hiring a Project Manager to lead hydro-mechanical projects, including water control gates, hoists, trash rack cleaners, and related steel fabrications. This role offers full ownership of projects from drawings and submittals through fabrication and delivery, with the opportunity to grow into a Senior PM or General Manager position. ResponsibilitiesManage hydro-mechanical projects end-to-end, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, QA documents, schedules, and budgets Review engineering drawings for accuracy, tolerances, dimensions, and buildability Examine designs for fabrication feasibility, material selection, and tooling requirements Compile, review, and submit customer submittal packages; manage RFIs Maintain project schedules and prioritize purchasing based on lead times Liaise between shop floor, engineering, quality, and customers Assist with pricing, bidding support, and change pricing based on market trends Address customer issues, complaints, and project challenges Requirements5+ years' experience in steel fabrication-related project management, detailing, or drafting Strong drawing comprehension and ability to identify errors and inconsistencies Knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing practices (cutting, xywuqvp forming, machining) Ability to manage multiple projects independently Experience managing projects from $500K – $25M Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD preferred Associate's degree in Drafting or equivalent preferred Perks & Benefits Competitive salary Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance Retirement plan + PTO Opportunity to grow into Senior Project Manager or General Manager To Apply: Send your resume to
