Medical Assistant/Administrative StaffJohnson Venture Management Solutions, Inc. (JVM Solutions) is recruiting Medical Assistants/Administrative staff to provide clinical and administrative support to the health unit team at Glynco, GA FLETC sites. This role assists licensed clinicians with patient flow, documentation, scheduling, vital signs, supply management, and administrative tasks. All MAs must maintain current BLS certification.Duties and Responsibilities:Greet and check in patients; verify identification badges to confirm eligibility for servicesCollect and document vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, O2 saturation, weight) under clinician directionAssist with scheduling Health Screenings, MSP appointments, and specialist referrals in SASSMaintain and organize medical records in the Government-provided SASS EMRManage medical supply inventory: ordering, stocking, and tracking formulary items and suppliesProcess paperwork for TAIRS, OSHA forms (300/300A/301), eComp forms, and AMA documentationMaintain equipment logs, calibration records, and twice-daily temperature logs for GFP/E refrigeratorsPrepare exam rooms; maintain health unit cleanliness and order between janitorial intervalsSupport patient flow during peak hours (early morning, pre-class, lunchtime, after class)Assist with preparation and counting of medications under clinician supervision per state scope of practiceSupport documentation of SIQ notifications, medical isolation reports, and restriction notificationsPrepare and submit weekly transportation and referral spreadsheets as directedQualifications:Minimum one (1) year of healthcare administrative or medical assistant experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn Government EMR systemsProficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding EnglishU.S. Citizen or alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence; DHS background investigation requiredPreferred Qualifications:Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)Prior experience in urgent care, occupational health, or federal healthcare settingExperience with EMR scheduling systemsPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods and move medical equipmentMust have adequate visual and auditory ability, with or without correction, to safely and effectively perform the essential duties of the jobPhysically capable of meeting the demands of a fast-paced clinical environmentEducation:High school diploma or GED; formal medical assistant or healthcare administrative training preferredLicenses/Certifications:Current AHA BLS Provider certificationWhy Join Us?People First, Always: Our core belief is simple, people come first.
