Solderer - 1st Shift

*Temp-to-hire* *M-F 1st Shift 5:00am Start Time * *$20/hr* *Job Summary* You will be responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components to produce high-quality tools and equipment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards. *Key Responsibilities:* * *Soldering Operations:* Perform various types of soldering, including surface mount, through-hole, and hand soldering, to assemble components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other assemblies. * *Assembly & Inspection:* Assemble components according to technical drawings and specifications. Conduct visual and mechanical inspections to ensure conformance to quality standards. * *Rework & Repair:* Identify and correct defects or issues in assemblies using appropriate tools and techniques. * *Documentation:* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including production counts, materials used, and any issues encountered. * *Safety & Cleanliness:* Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. *Qualifications:* * *Education:* High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in soldering preferred. * *Experience:* Previous experience in soldering or electronics assembly is advantageous. * *Skills:* * Proficiency in using soldering irons, microscopes, and other hand tools. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions. * Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. * Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. *Physical Requirements:* * Ability to stand for extended periods. * Manual dexterity to handle small components. * Capability to lift up to 25 pounds. *Certifications (Preferred):* * IPC-A-610 or IPC-J-STD-001 certification. #PROD2 Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Paid time off Application Question(s): * Do you have recent soldering experience? * Do you have assembly experience in a manufacturing setting?
