In this influential role, you will oversee major electric overhead transmission initiativesfrom concept through completionadvancing grid resiliency and reinforcing the reliability of electricity delivery for communities.
What You'll Do:Lead all phases of multifaceted electric overhead transmission projectsfrom concept through completionby developing advanced engineering designs, technical reports, and contract documentation, while guiding cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineering staff
Provide expert consultation and resolve highly complex technical issues across multiple teams and projects
Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed project phases with engineering and project management teams
Mentor and provide technical review for junior engineering staff working on electric overhead transmission projects
Conduct engineering studies, investigations, and prepare reports for company leadership, clients, and regulatory agencies
Prepare technical proposals and external presentations for clients, the general public, and regulatory agencies, showcasing CHA's commitment to grid resiliency and energy transition solutions
What You Bring:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience required
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Expert knowledge of engineering fundamentals and specialty areas
Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office
Proven leadership skills and ability to lead teams in a collaborative environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
Deep understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws

Salary Range:$150,000 - $160,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
