Vascular Technologist/ Sonographer (RVT/ RVS)

Perform vascular diagnostic ultrasound testing of peripheral and visceral vascular systems. Primary focus is in venous insufficiency, Deep Venous Testing (Iliac and Pelvic) and assisting in peripheral venous procedures such as endovenous ablation, VenaSeal, Varithena, USG foam sclerotherapy, etc. Collect data and provide documentation of test results for reading physicians. Description Job description OUR PRACTICE: Gauld Vein & Vascular is a medical practice specializing in the treatment of superficial venous disease. Our greatest asset at Gauld Vein & Vascular is our exceptional team, and we are seeking a motivated RVT to grow with us. **We have three Georgia office locations in Marietta, East Cobb, and Atlanta. Registered Vascular Technologist- Gauld Vein and Vascular JOB SUMMARY: Primary focus is in venous insufficiency, Deep Venous Testing (Iliac and Pelvic) and assisting in peripheral venous procedures. Collect data and provide documentation of test results for reading physicians. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Reviews medical record, obtain history and perform physical exam pertinent to vascular disease. Performs duplex / Doppler exams per lab protocols. Assist/ support vascular surgeon in lower extremity vein procedures. Use of electronic medical record and notification to referring physician of significant abnormal findings. Provide final report data for reading physicians. Maintains appropriate care of all ultrasound equipment. The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position.
