Network Test Engineer

Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer IIJob at a Glance: This role supports a lab infrastructure environment where hardware/network features are validated after development work is completed.Testing focuses on CMTS functionality and smart amplifiers across 10–12 on-site environments plus virtual sites.The team also supports field triage, including recreating issues in the lab and helping drive fixes.Location: 4100 East Dry Creek Road Centennial Colorado 80122 United StatesWork Schedule: 3-4 days on site, M-F, 40hrs a weekPay Rate: $40/hr W2 + optional benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k)Duration of Contract: Long term contract with extension/conversion possibilityResponsibilities:Execute manual QA/QC testing for lab infrastructure and network device functionality (CMTS + smart amplifiers).Validate completed development work and document results clearly for stakeholders.Support and maintain testing across multiple lab environments (on-site and virtual).Create, update, and deliver test documentation and test reports (plans, cases, execution results, defect summaries).Track work and defects using Jira (ticket creation, updates, retest/verification).Assist with issue triage: reproduce field issues in the lab, capture evidence/logs, and collaborate with engineering on resolution.Coordinate with a separate automation team (align on coverage, provide feedback on what should be automated, etc.).Required Skills:Previous QA/testing experienceBackground in networking infrastructure — DOCSIS highly preferredHands-on experience with RF equipment (setup, use during testing, interpreting results).Python, Ruby, or similar scripting experience highly preferred.Company Culture:From your first day, you’ll have the support and resources needed to grow your career to new heights and direction.Get ready to impact the lives of millions as you work together to create amazing experiences and breakthrough products at an exciting pace.As a trusted technology partner, CEI delivers solutions that help our customers transform their business and achieve meaningful results.
