Senior Cloud Engineer

Overview/ Job ResponsibilitiesPosition is contingent upon contract award and funding.Sev1Tech is looking for a Cloud Engineer to support the ALTESS commercial cloud services infrastructure. ALTESS is a managed service provider for Army and DoD IT systems and plans to offer managed cloud services in public clouds, MS Azure, AWS and Private Clouds.Minimum QualificationsActive DoD Secret Security ClearanceCompTIA Security+ (or equivalent IA cert) AND computing environment certification (i.e. MCSD Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.)Minimum 5 years' experience in Computer Science or ITMid to senior level Cloud Engineer experience that includes: Strong experience with IPSEC/VPN, and other secure transport technologies as well as Border Gateway ProtocolProven experience migrating on-premises applications to the cloudUnderstanding of network, storage, server, and application technologiesStrong knowledge of automation concepts, tools, and scripting languages (Ansible, Terraform, Python, Powershell, Bash, Puppet, Chef, etc.)Working knowledge of code repositories tools such as GitWorking knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM)Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline experience such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or AWS CodeDeployStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience effectively managing multiple large-scale projectsDesired QualificationsSenior IT experience in networking or equivalent experienceExperience automating routine administrative tasksEntarian is anEqual Opportunity and Affinity Action Employer.
