Network Administrator (Advanced)Location: Tallahassee, Florida (On-site)Duration: July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027Role OverviewThe Network Administrator will support and manage the department’s enterprise network infrastructure, working closely with IT teams and stakeholders. The role includes both infrastructure responsibilities and some involvement in software development (.NET).Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure and operationsAdminister and support enterprise network systemsDevelop and implement network policies, standards, and proceduresCollaborate with IT teams and business units to meet technical needsSupport network and infrastructure operations on a daily basisEnsure compliance with cybersecurity standards (NIST, COBIT, Florida Cybersecurity rules)Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and system securityManage change control processes for network updatesContribute as a .NET developer on application projectsProvide weekly status reports and monthly timesheetsRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience as a Network Administrator5+ years as a Senior Network AdministratorHands-on experience with at least one:F5Palo AltoVMwareHyper-VStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication (written and verbal)Preferred SkillsMicrosoft Word, Excel, VisioPowerPoint and SharePointExperience with IT documentation and reporting
