We're inspiring Canadians to create big, meaningful change by using their Wills, RRSPs and other financial tools to give back.In just five years, the campaign has grown into a national movement. The number of Canadians who've included a charitable gift in their Will has doubled, representing a major increase in future funds for important causes in this country.Position OverviewWe're looking for a Fractional Content Lead to bring consistency to Will Power's organic marketing.This is a new role that sits at the centre of our content ecosystem – working with our agencies and charity/advisor partners on blogs, emails and other key pieces. Our aim is to increase output without sacrificing quality.The Content Lead will ensure everything we put into the world is clear, compelling and sounds like us.You're a strong writer, a sharp editor, and have a good eye for design.Scope of WorkEditorial Leadership & VoiceTranslate Will Power's tone and positioning into a clear, practical voice guideEnsure consistency in how we communicate across all channelsContent Direction & PlanningLead development of a focused content calendar aligned with campaign prioritiesWork with agency on briefs for blogs, email, and social contentQuality Control & Editorial OversightWork closely with agency partners responsible for content production and channel executionProvide first-pass review and editing of emails, social posts and other content piecesEnsure everything we publish is clear, compelling, and aligned with Will Power's voiceCollaborate with translation partners to ensure French content is adapted appropriatelyAct as the central point of alignment across all content outputsContent DevelopmentLead development of campaign assets like proposals, webinars, onboarding and training materials, and partner newslettersConduct interviews with charity/advisor partners to inform contentWrite 2-3 blogs per monthIdeal Experience & CapabilitiesExperience in a senior content role (e.g. Content Lead, Editorial Director, or similar) with a strong track record of shaping and elevating brand voiceSuperb writing, editing and storytelling skills - able to turn complex ideas into approachable and engaging contentStrong editorial judgement and sense of audience — ideally within the charitable space where language and motivations are often differentA good eye for design and the ability to create simple assets when needed (e.g. Canva)Experience developing multi-channel content strategies with an understanding of how content performs (e.g. familiarity with SEM)Curios and current – keeps an eye on content marketing trends and brings new ideas forwardOrganized and responsive - comfortable project managing multiple partners and prioritiesFluent or working knowledge of French is an assetTerms & ConditionsEngagement Type: Part-time contract (fractional)Term: Ongoing engagement, with an initial 6 month term and potential to extendCompensation: $85-$110/hour, based on experience.Location: The role is fully remote, anywhere in Canada with a reliable internet connection.Time Commitment: 20-30 hours per month, depending on prioritiesThis position is ideal for an independent contractor comfortable working in a fractional capacity.How to ApplyIf this feels aligned with your work, we'd love to hear from you.
