Unarmed Security GuardOswego, NYOverviewSalary Range $21.00 Hourly Position Type Full-Time/Part-Time Job Shift AnyDescriptionAs an Unarmed Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing a visible security presence and maintaining a safe and secure environment within a government, corporate, retail, or commercial setting. This role requires professionalism, strong situational awareness, and excellent customer service skills.Primary responsibilities include conducting foot patrols, monitoring surveillance and alarm systems, controlling access and egress, observing and reporting suspicious activity, and responding appropriately to safety or security concerns. Officers are expected to complete accurate reports and maintain detailed logs in accordance with post orders and company policy.In addition to physical security duties, this position actively supports SSC's G.E.T. Principles Greet, Engage, and Thank, ensuring a positive experience for customers, visitors, associates, and employees.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct routine and random security patrols on foot or by vehicle, as assignedObserve, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behaviorMonitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systemsControl entry and exit points and verify authorized accessIdentify and address safety hazards or irregular conditionsRespond to incidents and emergencies; notify law enforcement or emergency services as requiredAssist with basic first aid and emergency notificationsPrepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activityServe as a liaison with local law enforcement when necessaryMaintain a clean, professional, and orderly post area at all timesCustomer Service & Engagement (G.E.T.
