Cybersecurity Architect
Overview
In this role you will help strengthen the security posture for national security programs, collaborating with a cross-functional team to translate cybersecurity needs into actionable architectures and requirements. You will influence ICAM, Zero Trust, and security directives while developing baseline security requirements for enterprise services. The position emphasizes independent work, interdisciplinary communication, and delivering precise, compliant solutions for sensitive environments. ResponsibilitiesRespond to congressional inquiries on Cybersecurity issues and translate needs into technical requirementsDevelop and maintain Cybersecurity Architecture needs, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plansAnalyze cybersecurity practices to identify gaps and improvement opportunitiesContribute input to Cybersecurity policies and influence ICAM and Zero Trust initiativesPublish baseline security requirements for common enterprise services to ensure compliance with directives and policiesProvide guidance and recommendations on Security-related issuesUnderstand Cybersecurity requirements across the IC and National Security Systems initiativesFamiliarity with DNI structure, policy update process, and IC policy updatesWork independently or as part of a team and participate in technical exchange meetings with customers
