Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Counter Person to join our team at our busy pizza shop. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a clean and efficient work environment. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the counter area. Handle food items safely and ensure proper food handling practices are followed. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions. Collaborate with pizza makers to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed. Skills Previous experience in a pizza shop or quick service food restaurant is preferred. Knowledge of culinary practices and food handling regulations is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Capability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the kitchen and dining space.
