Position Type:Support Staff/Library Media FacilitatorDate Posted:4/17/2026Location:Middle School NorthDate Available:08/10/2026Closing Date:Until FilledTo partner with teaching staff in the development of student literacy through administration of the library media center program, and to oversee the organization, utilization, and maintenance of library media resourcesEssential functions:Collaborate with teachers to help them integrate instruction in information and technology literacy; assist students and staff in identifying appropriate resources for achievement of student learning goals.Maintains and organizes library material, equipment, and facilities for effective and efficient utilization and circulation.Cultivates an atmosphere that invites students to visit the Library Media Center for classroom and personal reading, communicating and learning.Provides training to staff with relation to library resources as neededSupervision of students in the resource centerQualifications:Paraprofessional LicenseExperience working in a school environment preferredStrong background in computer and information technologyExperience with school libraries/technologyAbility to speak a foreign language is preferredWork year: This position is a 190-day position beginning August 10, 2026 - June 7, 2027. This position works 8 hours per day.Salary: As per current Support Staff Contract
