Account Executive-Business Development

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through effective negotiation and relationship management. This role requires a strong background in B2B sales, marketing, and technology sales, with a focus on developing "new business" opportunities. The Account Executive will play a crucial role in achieving our sales targets while providing exceptional service to our clients. Duties Prospect on a daily/weekly basis to set up customer meetings to present Link's "Managed Services Portfolio." Must achieve minimum daily and weekly prospecting activity Participate in team meetings and activities to drive new business Support marketing efforts of the Managed Services Team Generate proposals and close business to achieve an assigned MRR (monthly recurring revenue) Quota Coordinate with the Network Service Team/VP for custom quotes or project services quotes Document all sales activities and documents in the CRM system Meet weekly with your "Sales Manager" to review activity, pipeline and other sales issues Travel in the assigned sales territory, as required Transition customers to an "Account Manager" after the initial contracts are consummated Engage "Inside Sales" or the assigned "Account Manager" for any hardware opportunities Skills Proven experience in business development and B2B sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively. Familiarity with technology sales processes and account management best practices. Proficient in using CRM software for managing customer relationships. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Strong analytical skills for assessing market trends and performance data. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
