Education Program Coordinator

Job Summary: The Education Program Coordinator supports the planning and execution of professional education programs, including conferences, seminars, and webinars. This role works closely with program faculty and internal teams to develop educational content, coordinate logistics, manage communications, and assist with marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Support the planning and execution of educational programs, including collaborating with faculty and program advisors to develop content and schedules Coordinate and facilitate conference calls, and manage communication with speakers, attendees, and internal stakeholders Organize and prepare program materials for attendees and speakers Assist with drafting, editing, and reviewing marketing and promotional materials Provide onsite support for in-person events, including coordination with venues and internal teams, managing setup and breakdown, and overseeing registration Coordinate and administer virtual programs, including managing logistics and platform setup Conduct post-event follow-up, including attendee and speaker communications, evaluations, and expense reporting Assist with maintaining and enhancing on-demand or digital learning platforms Provide general administrative and departmental support as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required 2–3 years of experience in an office, nonprofit, association, or event planning environment preferred Experience supporting professional education programs, meetings, or events is highly preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay within budget High level of attention to detail; proofreading experience is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across teams and with external stakeholders Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database systems required; experience updating web content is a plus Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in Washington, DC 20001
