An experienced registered nurse with a minimum of three years Level 1 trauma center training is needed to provide specialized surgical nursing care in a fast-paced operating room environment. This role focuses on Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures at a renowned Level One Trauma Center in South Portland, ME.Key Responsibilities:Deliver expert perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing Gynecology and Genitourinary surgeriesUtilize advanced skills in robotic-assisted procedures, including Davinci Xi systemManage complex surgeries such as PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopies, and ureteroscopiesProvide care for diverse patient populations ranging from pediatrics to geriatricsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a high-pressure environmentParticipate in one overnight trauma call per week (11p-7a) and work 12-hour shifts on a 1:4 weekend rotationQualifications and Experience:Registered Nurse (RN) with active licenseMinimum 3 years Level 1 trauma experience in Operating Room nursingProficiency in robotic surgery (Davinci Xi) and advanced surgical procedures listed aboveCNOR certification preferredFamiliarity with EMR systems, preferably EpicAbility to work flexible hours including weekends and on-call shiftsStrong communication, accountability, and teamwork skillsLocation: Position is based in South Portland, ME, offering access to scenic coastal living with a blend of urban amenities.
