Details Miller 4 PCU/Telemetry unit within a large, Level 1 trauma academic teaching hospital Cardiology patient population including post-cath, STEMI, and structural heart patients 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights), Monday through Sunday Minimum every-other-weekend requirement; scheduling is flexible to meet unit and patient care needs No block scheduling available Floating required within the central pool PCU; travelers float first Epic EMR in use 26-week contract Requirements Active VT or compact RN license required; candidates without a VT license will be accepted, and NY candidates may be considered with proof of a pending NY license Current AHA BLS and ACLS required NIHSS certification required prior to start Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Experience in a large Level 1 trauma, academic teaching facility required Cardiology specialty experience required, including post-cath, STEMI, and structural heart patients Epic experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable Two professional references from a Nurse Manager and/or Supervisor are required for consideration — at least one from within the past 6 months and one from within the past year SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information This position is interview-to-offer (IVS) Bi-weekly orientations begin on Mondays; the next available orientation is 4/20 Public transportation is not accessible in this area; a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April All employment gaps of more than 90 days must be explained in your work history Complete work history is required, including bed count, EMR, and facility type for each position listed American Traveler Job ID P-687213.
