Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes, optimize production efficiency, and ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.Identify and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.Support new product introductions, process validation, and production readiness.Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improve operational efficiency.Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Collaborate with Quality, Design, Production, and Supply Chain teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Participate in equipment selection, installation, and process validation activities.Support continuous improvement projects focused on quality, productivity, and cost reduction.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.0–5+ years of manufacturing or production engineering experience.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis.Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD) is preferred.Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Preferred Skills:Lean ManufacturingSix Sigma Green Belt (preferred)GD&TProcess ValidationStatistical Process Control (SPC)Continuous ImprovementMinitabProject ManagementLocation:📍 USA Employment Type:Full-TimeWork Authorization:OPT | STEM OPT | H-1B | H-4 EAD | Green Card | U.S. Citizen |Permanent Resident | Canadian CitizenThis description is ATS-friendly and aligns with the skills and responsibilities most commonly requested for Manufacturing Engineer roles in the current job market.
