In this clinical leadership role, you will serve as a change-agent; leveraging your clinical expertise to enhance healthcare delivery and quality outcomes for our 12-bed medical-surgical ICU and 25-bed medical stepdown unit.Key Responsibilities IncludeLeading quality, safety, and process improvement initiativesDeveloping and implementing action plans in response to changes in benchmark data.Identifying and implementing strategies to improve clinical practice.Providing expert consultation to nurses caring for complex patients.Assessing learning needs and coordinating unit-based education and development initiatives.Mentoring nursing and ancillary staff on the application of evidence-based practiceThis is a full time position position working Monday-Friday at NewYork-Presbyterian/Allen Hospital.Preferred CriteriaExperience applying principles of continuous quality improvement CCRN (Adult) or PCCN certificationRequired CriteriaMinimum of 5 years of relevant nursing experienceNYS RN licensureCNS certificate through ANCC or AACNMaster’s Degree in Nursing or related field if already holds a BSN degreeBCLS certification from the American Heart AssociationACLS certification from the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire/transferDemonstrated skills in leadership, communication, and teamworkJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
