Material Handler

Job Title: Material Handler Location: Orlando, FL (On-site) Pay: Based on experiencePosition Summary: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and production fulfillment. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, basic math and computer proficiency, and a proactive mindset to improve stockroom efficiency and maintain accurate inventory.Key Responsibilities:Receive incoming materials and electronic components using MRP systems (MS Dynamics AX)Inspect shipments against packing slips and report discrepancies to the Purchasing teamMaintain accurate inventory through routine cycle counts of raw materials and finished goodsPull, count, and release materials to production as directed by planningPrepare shipping/receiving documentation and load/unload shipments from carriers and LTL trucksCoordinate and process weekly international shipments to offshore facilitiesUtilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) for reporting, tracking, and communicationCommunicate material status, kit readiness, and logistics updates with the operations teamEnsure timely completion of daily receiving and inventory tasksProvide professional support when assisting with departmental phone callsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace following 5S and GMP standardsQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExperience with electronic components, specifications, or BOMs is a plusMust be eligible to work with ITAR-regulated data and able to obtain/maintain U.S. Government security clearancePhysical Requirements & Work Environment:Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularlyFrequent standing, walking, bending, and reachingWork performed in a warehouse/stockroom environmentSchedule may vary based on operational needs, including occasional extended hoursMust follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspaceApply today to join a team that values accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement!Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
