Materials/ Warehouse Yard Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTIONWarehouse Yard Coordinator is responsible for the movement of all trailers and the coordination of all materials from trailers to production. This position will serve as the main contact between drivers and warehouse teams.Coordinate all trailer movements within the warehouse yard and the plant, according to QAD replenishment requirementsEnsure to fulfilled QAD replenishment orders on timeCompleting material transaction on computer system and scanners.Maintain QAD replenishment system updated according to locations parameters storageReceive material as required.Coordinate the material picking and put away within supermarket warehousesServe as main contact for switching driver; coordinate with warehouse teams; escalate issues.Learn and follow all applicable policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.Portions of the job may not be standardized or completely described in the job description and my require some independent action and thinking by the employeeQualification Requirements:Ability to work independently with minimal instructionsAbility to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a timely mannerStrong team player with ability to interact with all functional areasAbility to work with MRP systemAbility to use Microsoft Office applications and learn computer applicationsExperience Requirements:2+ years experience in assembly/manufacturing warehouse, stockroom setting preferred1+ years production control experience preferredAutomotive manufacturing preferredWork hours: Monday - Friday 5pm - 5amPRIMARY LOCATION Clanton
