Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Boston, MA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,723 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist / ECMO Specialist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT PICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day and Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Valid license as a Respiratory Therapist Certifications: - BLSP - ALS - RRT or RRT-NPS - Preferred: CES-PE-NPEC Must-Have: - Familiarity with centrifugal ECMO systems - Ability to manage and operate ECMO equipment - Skills in bedside pump management and circuit priming Description: This position requires every third weekend. The role combines functions of a Registered Respiratory Therapist and ECMO Specialist. Responsibilities include providing general neonatal/pediatric respiratory critical care. Candidates must be skilled in operating ECMO systems on critically ill patients. In the absence of ECMO assignments, the candidates will fill in as Respiratory Therapists. The job involves managing a central mag, administering blood products and medications, and drawing labs from circuits. The therapist must respond to clots and understand the intricacies involved in ECMO operations. Candidates need to demonstrate readiness to respond quickly, ideally within 10 minutes, to emergencies. Experience with modified time management routines, operating equipment, and delivering superior patient care is essential.
