Knowledge Manager – Enterprise STACOM Support
Location: Patrick AFB, FL(Onsite Daily – No remote/Hybrid)
Clearance Required:Active Secret (TS/SAP eligibility a strong plus)
Employment Type:Full-TimeWe are seeking an experienced Knowledge Manager to provide technical assistance and subject matter expertise in support of the Enterprise Satellite Communications (SATCOM) mission area. This individual will work directly alongside government customers to support a wide portfolio of Protected, Wideband, Narrowband, and Commercial SATCOM programs at Patrick AFB. This is a highly technical, government-facing role requiring strong communication skills, defense acquisition knowledge, and deep familiarity with DoD SATCOM systems and operations.Required Qualifications
ActiveSecret clearance(required to start; TS or TS/SCI with SAP eligibility strongly preferred)
5–10+ yearsof experience in DoD SATCOM programs, space systems, or related defense communications fields
Demonstrated knowledge of one or more SATCOM systems listed above
Experience with DoD acquisition processes, PPBE, and POM development
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce high-quality briefings, reports, and technical documents for senior government stakeholders
Familiarity with DoD, JCS, and Air Force documentation standards and instructionsPreferred Qualifications
Experience working at or with Space Force, Air Force Space Command, or related defense space organizations
Prior experience at Patrick AFB or Cape Canaveral Space Force Station
Background in configuration management or systems engineering for space/ground programs
Existing TS/SCI or SAP accessWork Environment & Conditions

Must be able to work in classified environments daily

Technical & Subject Matter Expertise
Serve as a technical SME across the full SATCOM mission area, including but not limited to: Milstar, Advanced EHF (AEHF), Evolved Strategic SATCOM (ESS), Enhanced Polar System (EPS/EPS-R), DSCS, Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS), Wideband Follow-On (WFO), MUOS/MUOS Follow-On, Protected Anti-Jam Tactical SATCOM (PATS), Protected Tactical Enterprise System (PTES), Protected Tactical Satellite (PTS), FSS, MSS, FAB-T, FET, PNVC, AFWET, Teleports, Gateways, and NATO SATCOM
Apply broad technical knowledge of SATCOM principles and operations across unclassified, classified (Secret), and Special Access Program (SAP) systemsResource & Budget Support
Collect and analyze inputs for resource adjustments within the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process
Support development of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) options, financial execution plans, and associated advocacy materials (briefings, reports, etc.)
Assist with execution-year funding activities including Unfunded Requirements (UFRs), Budget Execution Reviews, and end-of-year funding actions
Support establishment and management of Defense Working Capital Funds for Enterprise SATCOM, under government supervisionOperations, Sustainment & Engineering Support
Provide operations, sustainment, and engineering guidance for current and future SATCOM programs across space, ground command & control, and user terminal segments
Develop technical analysis products including point papers, briefings, and concept development documents to optimize SATCOM space systems
Support SATCOM conferences, team meetings, design reviews, and System Program Management Reviews (PMRs)
Draft operations documentation in accordance with DoD, Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Air Force instructions for future and emerging programs
Assist the government in evaluating SATCOM acquisition and fielding progress, including program schedules, funding profiles, and integrated system synchronization across space, ground, and user terminal segments
Support Configuration Control documentation and execution for SATCOM program modifications per established procedures
