We work closely with our IT and Engineering clients to identify talented professionals for a variety of technical and engineering positions across multiple locations.We are currently hiring on behalf of our clients for the following position:Position: Engineering Technician/ TechnologistLocation: Pittsburgh, PAEmployment Type: Full-TimeExperience: 5+We are seeking an experienced engineering professional to manage roadway and railroad permitting, access approvals, and compliance for major power infrastructure projects. This role involves coordinating with engineering teams, government agencies, contractors, and railroad representatives to ensure safe and timely project execution.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage roadway and railroad permitting strategies for infrastructure projects.Coordinate with engineering, environmental, construction, and external consulting teams on road crossings, driveways, and project access.Plan contractor haul routes, considering roadway and bridge weight restrictions and local access requirements.Negotiate Road Use Management Agreements (RUMA), Right of Entry (ROE) agreements, and Railroad Crossing Agreements.Work with local and state agencies and railroad representatives to address traffic engineering, public safety, and roadway restoration requirements.Track permit conditions, compliance activities, and roadway restoration through construction closeout.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a relevant field.5+ years of environmental experienceExperience coordinating with local/state agencies and railroad representatives.Proven ability to negotiate access and permitting agreements, including RUMA, ROE, and railroad crossing agreements.Strong knowledge of roadway construction methods and restoration standards, including pavement, drainage, geotechnical, guiderail, and temporary works.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on safety.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC applications.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) planning, oversize/overweight permitting, bonding and insurance requirements, and contract administration.Experience presenting at public meetings.Equal Employment OpportunityPrimeBridge Workforce is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
