Sales Operations Manager Location: Cartersville, GA (On-Site) Company: Leading Fragrance Manufacturer & Supplier Compensation: $60,000–$80,000 + performance bonuses (Total Comp $70K–$90K) Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday Reports to: Owner / President About Us We are a fast-growing, $50M specialty fragrance manufacturer serving small- and mid-sized candle and soap businesses nationwide. Our company is known for high-quality products, fast turnaround, and exceptional customer service. We are expanding and looking for a Sales Operations Manager who can bring discipline, structure, and visibility to the sales organization. Position Summary: The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the sales team consistently executes daily customer outreach, maintains clean CRM data, and produces accurate reporting for leadership. This role builds and enforces sales processes, monitors rep activity, and provides the owner with daily and weekly visibility into performance, pipeline health, and customer follow-up. This is NOT a sales rep role — it is a sales accountability, reporting, and operations role. Key Responsibilities Sales Activity & Accountability Ensure sales reps are making required customer calls, emails, and follow-ups every day. Monitor call quotas, touchpoints, and follow-up schedules. Listen to or review call logs as needed for quality control. Own the daily “Are we following up on every customer?” process. Reporting & Analytics Produce a daily dashboard of rep activity (calls, emails, quotes, follow-ups). Produce a weekly dashboard showing pipeline progress, wins/losses, conversion rates, and forecasting. Maintain accuracy of CRM data and ensure reps update notes, next steps, and deal stages. Process & Systems Manage CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, FW) Build standardized workflows for quoting, follow-up, and lead handling. Clean and organize customer lists, inactive accounts, and churn-risk customers. Team Support Coordinate communication between sales, customer service, operations, and the owner. Prepare sales meeting agendas and review metrics weekly. Train new reps on CRM use and sales processes. Customer Contact Oversight Make sure key customers receive follow-up within defined SLAs. Flag accounts needing special attention and report to ownership immediately. Required Skills & Experience 3–7+ years in Sales Operations, Sales Support, CRM Management, or related role. Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles (manufacturing, distribution, wholesale preferred). Advanced skills with CRM systems and Excel/Sheets. Strong reporting and analytics skills — ability to summarize complex data simply. Ability to hold salespeople accountable while staying professional and respectful. Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven. Preferred Qualifications Experience in fragrance, ingredients, chemicals, packaging, or manufacturing industries. Prior responsibility for dashboards, KPIs, or pipeline management. Experience implementing or optimizing a CRM. Performance Metrics (How success will be measured) Daily reps hitting call & follow-up targets. CRM compliance (notes, next steps, data quality). Timely reporting accuracy (daily and weekly dashboards delivered on schedule). Pipeline visibility and reduction in stalled deals. Increase in customer touch frequency and active account engagement.
