Senior OpenShift Integration EngineerRemobi | Fully Remote (EU) | B2B/Freelance/Contract | 9-12 Months Initial (high chance of extension) | Early October 2026 startWe are Remobi - we help businesses scale and innovate through high-performing, remote nearshore tech teams.We're hiring a Senior OpenShift Integration Engineer to design, implement, integrate, and support platform services within enterprise OpenShift environments for a global energy technology company.This role sits at the intersection of observability, core network and platform services, security integrations, and infrastructure automation - you'll combine hands-on OpenShift expertise with strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, and automation tooling to keep the platform reliable, scalable, secure, and operationally efficient.What You'll DoIntegrate, configure, and support OpenShift platform services across enterprise environmentsDesign, implement, and maintain observability solutions using Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and ElasticsearchConfigure and support core network and infrastructure services, including TFTP, STP, DNS, and DHCPImplement and maintain security controls for IAM, PKI, platform hardening, backup and recovery, and file integrity monitoringBuild and maintain infrastructure automation and deployment workflows using GitHub, GitOps, Pulumi, and AnsiblePartner with infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver seamless integrations and stable platform operationsDiagnose and resolve issues across platform, observability, service integration, security, and automation layersCreate and maintain integration patterns, technical standards, and support documentationWhat We're Looking ForMust-have:Strong hands-on experience integrating and operating OpenShift or Kubernetes-based platformsPractical experience with Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and ElasticsearchWorking knowledge of core network and infrastructure services, particularly DNS and DHCPExperience with IAM, PKI, platform hardening, backup and recovery, and file integrity monitoringExperience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, and AnsibleNice-to-have:Familiarity with GitOps principles and Git-based development and deployment workflowsWhy This RoleYou'll be the go-to technical owner for platform integration across a major enterprise OpenShift environment, with real scope to shape how observability, security, and automation come together.
