The Project Manager manages risk using established project management processes to address execution challenges associated with quality, schedule, and cost. This position leads, defines and manages project plans to achieve strategic business goals and operational objectives. They will also serve as a resource to other team members on escalated issues, guiding them in the development and delivery of their work product.What You Will Get To DoInteract with clients regarding the nature of the business need or issue to be addressedAbility to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyReview and interpret business requirements and develop detailed technical requirementsAnalyze requirements and determine how they will affect new or existing systemsFacilitate the development of project plans related to schedule, budget, scope, and resourcesEnsure achievement of business goals and objectives by proactively communicating with project stakeholdersFollow IT development processes such as change management, configuration management, security complianceUnderstands each project's critical path activities and proactively manages those to the project's benefitLeads subject matter experts to resolve project challengesInteracts with customers to solve problems quickly and effectivelyEffectively communicates technical information to non-technical personnel, both verbally and in writingActs as an escalation point for incidents and alertsPrepares reports and conduct meetings with client, partners, and staffWrites peer reviews and document issues as requiredCommunicates project issues to Project Executive and/or PMO leadCreates documentation for project activity audit trailCollects and compile data/information for projects and presentationsAssists in the development of work product for the clientGenerates Proposals and/or State of Work (SOW)Pursues continuous learning, staying on top of industry trends, sharing knowledge with othersIdentifies and closes business opportunitiesPerforms other tasks as requested by the Project Executive and/or PMO leadWhat You Bring To The TeamA Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Business, or related field is required2 - 5 years of professional project management experience, which includes managing projects throughout all phases of the project lifecycle (initiation thru close-out) is requiredPMP certification is requiredSome experience leading projects in IT or business environment is requiredExperience with agile/scrum methodologies coupled with previous experience working in an agile environment is required.
