Other system services include the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute, a regional trauma program, LifeFlight of Maine's southern Maine base, the Central Maine Comprehensive Cancer Center and other high-quality clinical services.ResponsibilitiesCentral Maine Healthcare is looking for a dynamic Nurse Educator to add to our Maternity team at Central Maine Medical Center!Serves as a practitioner, educator, consultant, and evidence-based practice leader. Responsible for needs assessment, design and development, delivery and evaluation of in-service programs, orientation and continuing education for nurses, students, and other staff in specified clinical areas. Develops educational policies and procedures; serves as a resource person to staff and management; participates in quality and performance improvement activities; and serves on special committees as needed. Functions with the guidance of the leadership team as an integrated member of CMHC.If you are passionate about making a difference and are looking for your next great career opportunity, we look forward to reviewing your application!Education and Experience* Current State of Maine Registered Nurse license • 5 to 7 years of relevant acute care experience• 2 years clinical educator experience preferred• Bachelor's degree required• Master's degree preferred• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider ACLS, PALS, and BLS Certification required; Instructor status certifications preferred.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to engage patients and team members utilizing the CMH Experience Standardsi.
