Technical Product ManagerFull-Time | On-Site: Atlanta, GA / Hybrid | Software Development & Product ManagementAbout the RoleJourney Connected Data is seeking a Technical Product Manager with a strong technical foundation—ideally in computer science—and a passion for owning product outcomes across complex, cross-functional initiatives. This role is dedicated to Journey Connected Data and will not be split across other SwordPoint portfolio products.The Technical Product Manager will own the product backlog, drive prioritization, and serve as the subject matter expert in bridging engineering, sales, and leadership. They will collaborate with Customer Success onboarding and escalation workflows—ensuring the voice of the customer shapes what gets built. This is not a traditional project management role.The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical experience with product leadership—comfortably moving between code-level discussions and executive-level stakeholder communication. Journey is at the stage where the people who join now shape what it becomes. We need someone who sees the product as theirs to improve—not a backlog to clear.Key Responsibilities• Own the product backlog and lead end-to-end delivery of technical initiatives across engineering, Customer Success, and leadership—defining the WHY and WHAT, not just the WHEN• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, aligning engineering, product, QA, and DevOps efforts• Act as the technical liaison between development teams and leadership, translating technical concepts into clear updates, risks, and roadmaps• Identify, manage, and resolve blockers proactively; escalate risks with context and solutions• Establish and maintain program processes including sprint planning, release coordination, and dependency tracking• Participate in architecture and design discussions with the ability to challenge assumptions and ask informed questions• Maintain comprehensive product documentation including user stories, decision logs, and release notes; lead product discovery using AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to validate solutions before development begins• Drive continuous improvement through tooling, automation, and process enhancementsRequired Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related technical field• 3+ years of experience in technical product management, product ownership, or engineering-adjacent roles• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, system architecture, and engineering trade-offs• Proven ability to own and prioritize a product backlog, write user stories, and drive delivery in a fast-moving startup environment• Fluent in AI-augmented work — routinely uses tools like Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT to prototype ideas, draft requirements, and compress discovery cycles• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or iterative delivery frameworks• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications• Experience with database technologies and SQL• Familiarity with .NET and C# development workflows• Experience using Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Repos)• PMP, PgMP, CSM, or SAFe certification• Prior experience as a software developer or engineer• Experience with CRM or field-service platform integrations (Service Titan, Housecall Pro, Zoho, ActiveCampaign, Salesforce, or similar)• Exposure to marketing automation platforms and lifecycle marketing strategies that support customer acquisition, retention, and growth at scale• Six Sigma certification or experienceAbout SwordPoint Services, Inc.SwordPoint Services, Inc. is a technology-driven organization focused on building innovative software solutions that turn data into action.
