The HEINZMANN Group, founded in 1897 in Germany’s Black Forest, develops advanced control systems, engine management technologies, and electric drive solutions for demanding industrial applications including power generation, marine propulsion, and industrial engines.We are currently scaling our North American business and strengthening our commercial organization. This role is focused on developing new business with OEMs and key industry players, while taking full ownership of pipeline development and revenue generation.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESOwn and develop strategic accounts with full responsibility for pipeline and revenueProactively identify, create, and convert new business opportunities, particularly within OEM environmentsBuild and expand relationships with key technical and commercial stakeholdersDrive opportunity development from early engagement through closingLead RFQ processes including technical clarification, scope definition, and commercial alignmentTake ownership of pricing, margins, and commercial riskPosition HEINZMANN solutions effectively in competitive environmentsAct as interface between customer and internal engineering during development phasesCoordinate internal stakeholders across engineering, operations, and managementBuild and maintain a structured, transparent, and continuously developing sales pipelineYOUR PROFILE3–5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business developmentStrong hunter mindset with a track record of proactively generating businessStructured and disciplined approach to building and managing a sales pipelineProven ability to convert opportunities through consistent and focused executionExperience working with OEMs or in complex technical B2B environmentsSolid understanding of combustion engine technologies or comparable systemsAbility to represent technical solutions credibly in front of engineering and purchasing stakeholdersStrong negotiation, communication, and analytical skillsHigh level of ownership, persistence, and accountabilityWillingness to travel across North America and internationallyBased in the Detroit metropolitan areaNICE TO HAVEDegree in engineering or a related technical fieldExperience in large engine applications, power generation, or marine sectorsWHAT WE OFFERFull-time position in a growing North American organizationDirect ownership of customer development and revenue growthPerformance-driven role with a clear link between results and compensationHealth, dental, and vision insurance with employer contribution401(k) retirement planCar allowance to support customer travel20 days PTO with additional tenure-based increasesHybrid working model with a strong on-site team presenceHigh level of responsibility and entrepreneurial scopeClose collaboration with leadership and global teamsExposure to international projects and advanced engineering solutionsThis role is designed for individuals who want to actively build business and be rewarded for the results they create.Candidates should be located in the region to support travel requirements.
