Onsite role at Fremont, CA, Candidate needs to work Thursday- Sunday (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM), 40 hours per weekTop Skills:Worked with CNC machines in earlier projects.Ability to work by themselves.Attention to details shared.Duties:Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Works with engineers in conducting experiments.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC milling machinesLoad programs, install tooling, and set work offsetsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsMonitor machine operations and make adjustments as neededPerform in-process using precision measuring toolsIdentify and report quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concernsPerform routine machine maintenance and cleaningMaintain accurate production and quality recordsFollow all safety, quality, and operational proceduresSupport continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiativesRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED1–3 years of CNC machine operation experienceAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsBasic understanding of G-code and CNC controlsExperience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection toolsOur Client is a Fortune 350 company that engages in the design, manufacturing, marketing, and service of semiconductor processing equipment.
