SME Engagement OpportunityIndo-Pacific Smart and Secure Ports Program (SSPP)Technology Management Solutions LLC (TMS) is building a select cadre of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a U.S.-aligned international capacity building initiative focused on strengthening maritime security, cybersecurity, and supply chain resilience across Indo-Pacific partner nations.Program OverviewThe Indo-Pacific Smart and Secure Ports Program (SSPP) is designed to enhance the security, resilience, and modernization of port ecosystems through:Maritime capacity building workshops Cybersecurity and supply chain resilience assessments Tabletop exercises (TTXs) and operational planning Advisory and sustainment support Activities are conducted in coordination with U.S. Government stakeholders and international partners, with engagements spanning multiple Indo-Pacific countries.Role of SMEsSelected SMEs will support a range of activities depending on expertise and availability, including:Delivering capacity building workshops to port, customs, and maritime stakeholders Supporting port-level cybersecurity and risk assessments Designing and facilitating tabletop exercises (TTXs) Contributing to action planning and resilience roadmaps Providing advisory support to partner nation institutions Engagements are typically short-duration, mission-focused deployments supported by structured planning and coordination.Areas of Expertise SoughtWe are seeking experienced professionals with deep expertise in one or more of the following areas:International Capacity BuildingExperience delivering training or advisory services internationally Familiarity with Indo-Pacific region preferred Ability to operate in multi-agency, cross-cultural environments Maritime & Port OperationsPort authority operations and governance Waterways management and vessel traffic systems Maritime security and safetyCybersecurity & Critical InfrastructureIT/OT cybersecurity in port or industrial environments Cyber risk assessments and resilience planning Incident response and tabletop exercise facilitation Supply Chain & Trade SecurityMaritime supply chain risk management Cargo security, customs, and interagency coordination Trusted technology and vendor risk considerations Desired QualificationsSenior-level experience (typically 15+ years) Prior U.S. Government, military, or international program experience strongly preferred Indo Pacific regional experienceExperience working with port authorities, maritime agencies, or critical infrastructure stakeholdersStrong communication and facilitation skills Ability to translate technical concepts into operational outcomes Engagement ModelTMS employs a flexible SME deployment model, allowing experts to participate based on:Mission requirements Subject matter alignment Availability SMEs are integrated into small teams and supported by TMS program management to ensure efficient execution and high-quality outcomes.Why ParticipateContribute to high-impact international maritime security initiatives Work alongside senior maritime and cybersecurity leaders Support real-world capacity building and resilience efforts Flexible, mission-driven engagements
