Financial Associate

Overview In this role you will support NGA’s Core Financial Systems as a junior Financial Systems Analyst, helping to shape financial processes and system enhancements. You will work with cross-functional teams on data migration, testing, and documentation to ensure accurate financial results. You’ll contribute to business-case development, training materials, and security-related activities. This is an opportunity to grow within federal financial management and gain exposure to system engineering and compliance processes. ResponsibilitiesSupport program schedule developmentAssist in developing business cases and resulting system enhancementsDevelop and maintain system documentation and training materialsDevelop data migration methodologies and validate migrated dataParticipate in operations and maintenance meetings for Core Financial SystemsSupport IV&V testing processes to validate financial results before enhancementsCoordinate and participate in system engineering and technical exchange meetingsCoordinate milestone events (requirements reviews, design reviews, program management reviews)Coordinate with security teams for security certification and accreditation activities Key requirementsMinimum TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraphMinimum four years of total experience and two years of relevant experienceBachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Computer Science, or EconomicsExperience in assessing federal financial processes, developing Momentum-based options, and/or implementation across planning, budgeting, execution, and accountingDemonstrated experience with Momentum Financials and related lifecycle activitiesExperience with data migration, system testing, and COGNOS reportinganalytical thinkingstrong communicationcross-functional collaborationMomentum FinancialsCOGNOSAdobe Captivate
