Job DetailsDescriptionJoin Our Team and Make a Difference Every DayPosition: Float Behavioral Support ConsultantPay: $54,000 - $60,000Location: Multiples sites across Amherst, Tonawanda, Buffalo, and ClarenceSchedule: Variable, either Monday - Friday 10am - 5:30pm or Tuesday - Friday 10am -5:30pm and Saturday 9:45am - 4:15pm. They are responsible for providing clinical support through team consultation, behavioral assessments, and the development and implementation of behavior plans. They lead and guide Behavioral Support Technicians and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective behavioral interventions.Provide data-based behavioral consultation to classroom teams/adult day programsComplete behavioral assessmentsDevelop and write required reportsMeasure student progress on interim behavioral protocols and behavior intervention plans and the reliability of treatment implementationTrain staff in best practice methodsProvide and oversee crisis intervention services for studentsEnsure that IEP mandates are fulfilledMaintain all records requiredConduct all duties, responsibilities, and daily activities in accordance with current best practice and ethical guidelinesCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, Etc.: First Aid, CPR, and Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention – Revised Instructor (SCIP-R) certification; fingerprint clearance through Office of Child and Family Services (OCFS) for individuals assigned to preschool units. Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Master’s degree in special education, school psychology, or a related field. Experience in developing and implementing behavioral support plans with developmentally disabled individuals using Applied Behavior Analysis methods.
