Friends Hospital is easily accessed via public transportation and has free, safe, on-site parking.Visit us online at: The Expressive Arts Therapist performs duties and responsibilities as required as a member of the Treatment Team in delivering direct patient care services. Under the direction of the Director of Recreational Therapy, creates a therapeutic milieu on the inpatient service; plans and coordinates the implementation of specific treatment programs for individual patients and patient groups; assures the application of age-appropriate expressive therapies modalities to group or individual treatment; identifies and utilizes specific theoretical framework to guide and integrate care within the milieu; organizes and coordinates or directs unit-based psychotherapeutic services delivered in a group (milieu) context; contributes to the development and implementation of treatment plans & goals as determined by the unit team; functions as a member of the Clinical Services team.
