Release Train Engineer/Business Operations Assistant (Junior-Level)Share this job as a link in your status update to LinkedIn.Posting/External Job TitleRelease Train Engineer/Business Operations Assistant (Junior-Level)LocationRemote/Onsite/Hybrid100% OnsiteJob TypeFull-timeof Hires Needed1EducationBachelor's DegreeTravelUp to 10%Security Clearance RequiredMust be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance within a reasonable timeframe.Pay Range (All offers will be based on experience)$78,000.00 - $98,000.00/yrPosition Introduction/Key DutiesCimarron is seeking a junior-level Release Train Engineer/Business Operations Assistant to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs, CO area.Key Duties :Develop and maintain reports and dashboards, including project planning roadmaps that display schedules, progress, resource allocation, backlog status, and project prioritization.Analyze and present data sets in a clear and accessible format for a wide range of audiences.Partner with Product Owners and technical teams to ensure accurate reflection of the backlog and current goals within project management tools, including Microsoft Teams, Planner, Project, Jira, and GitLab.Coordinate software and hardware upgrades with appropriate departments and develop and maintain documentation for system procedures.Collaborate with IT resources to support upgrades and resolve technical issues, identifying required resources and coordinating efforts through to resolution.Support the Release Train Engineer with Backlog administration, Program Increment Planning and Reviews, and Standups.Assist in facilitating Scrum activities, including Sprint Planning and Sprint Reviews.Ensure transparent and consistent communication between development teams, product owners, and stakeholders.Develop tracking and data visualization tools to monitor team progress and performance metrics and deliver reports to senior stakeholders.Serve as an alternate to the Business Operations Manager as needed.Onboard and offboard personnel in accordance with established organizational processes, including account creation and seating logistics.Support team morale initiatives, including supply replenishment and event organization.Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and EducationRequired Skills, Experience, and Education:Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.Ability to obtain a security clearance in a reasonable timeframe.This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. If you are unsure whether your ID is Real ID-compliant, please check for the star symbol in the upper portion of your driver's license or state ID.Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to a variety of audiences.Demonstrated ability to create and maintain project documentation, including project plans and status reports.Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all work products.6 or more months of experience in data visualization, project coordination, or related experience.Experience with 1 or more of the following relational databases:MS AccessOracleSQL ServerBachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Business, Management, or a related field.Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education.Desired Skills, Experience, and Education :Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, GitLab, Jira, or Asana.Familiarity with Windows and UNIX operating systems.Working knowledge of graphic design software and tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, or equivalent applications.Experience with web and programming languages, including HTML5, Java, .NET, CSS, and XML.Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Excel, SQL, or Tableau.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks.Business Profile:Cimarron is a global solutions company with a strategic partnering approach to satisfying customer-driven requirements.
