ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Active Ingredient Technician Monolayer with a pharmaceutical company. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity with our client located in Athens, GA.Summary:This role is responsible for performing activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components within an aseptic clean room environment. The ideal candidate will utilize virus and cell culture techniques according to USDA regulations and ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures. This position requires working a 7am-5:30pm shift, with overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.Responsibilities:Perform activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment utilizing virus and cell culture techniques according to USDA regulationsEnsure compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures during execution of processesAssist with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skillsComplete and review in-process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely mannerParticipate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problemsDemonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiativesParticipate and provide support to site projects and initiatives, including deviation and change control managementRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalentRabies vaccine requiredDemonstrated strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detailClean room and aseptic technique knowledgeBasic understanding of Lean Manufacturing PrinciplesBasic math skills and equipment/automation troubleshooting skillsProficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systemsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work in a team environment and demonstrate problem-solving skills Desired skills:Biology Degree or related fieldOne year or more of laboratory experience and/or manufacturing experience Pay range: Up to $14.28 per HourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!ApTask Global Workforce (AGW)ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is a certified Minority and Veteran workforce solutions company.
