This role will serve as the primary technical liaison between Epic Hosting teams, customer infrastructure teams, application teams, and operational leadership.The ideal candidate will possess deep technical infrastructure knowledge, strong healthcare IT experience, and demonstrated success supporting large-scale Epic environments, hosting transitions, infrastructure implementations, or enterprise technical deployments.This role does not require prior Epic employment; however, candidates must possess strong technical leadership capabilities and experience coordinating complex healthcare technology environments.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the technical lead for all hosting transition activities and infrastructure coordination effortsCoordinate directly with Epic Hosting teams, customer technical teams, and third-party vendors throughout the transitionLead technical planning, execution, and issue resolution across infrastructure workstreamsManage technical dependencies across networking, servers, storage, virtualization, endpoints, printers, peripherals, security, and connectivityCoordinate infrastructure readiness and technical validation activities across hospital and ambulatory environmentsSupport deployment planning and technical readiness for enterprise-wide hardware and workstation initiativesLead cross-functional technical meetings and facilitate communication between infrastructure, application, and operational teamsReview, coordinate, and manage high-impact technical changes, including implementation timing, rollback planning, mitigation planning, and communication strategiesCoordinate integrated technical testing efforts including device validation, connectivity testing, disaster recovery validation, and cutover supportAssist in development of operational support models and transition-to-support activities post go-livePartner with leadership teams to proactively identify technical risks, gaps, and mitigation strategiesSupport command center and stabilization efforts during go-live and transition periodsRequired Qualifications7+ years of healthcare IT infrastructure or technical leadership experienceExperience supporting Epic environments, Epic Hosting initiatives, enterprise hosting migrations, or large-scale healthcare infrastructure transformationsStrong understanding of healthcare infrastructure environments including networking, servers, virtualization, storage, endpoints, and technical operationsExperience coordinating large, matrixed technical teams across multiple workstreamsDemonstrated success leading technical implementations, cutovers, or hosting transition activitiesStrong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to engage effectively with executive leadership, technical engineers, operational teams, and vendor partnersPreferred QualificationsDirect Epic Hosting or Epic Technical Services experienceExperience with large-scale Epic implementations or healthcare infrastructure modernization effortsExperience supporting enterprise testing and go-live readiness activitiesOur Team: Divurgent is a solutions provider focused on what matters most to our client partners.
