Job TypeFull-timeDescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support an established litigation attorney in our Cincinnati office. This role will serve as the primary and sole paralegal in this location, managing cases independently while collaborating closely with the assigned attorney and firmwide litigation team.The ideal candidate brings strong litigation and personal injury experience, is highly organized, and thrives in a role that offers both autonomy and accountability.What You'll DoCase Management & Litigation SupportIndependently manage a personal injury caseload from intake through resolutionObtain, review, organize, and summarize medical recordsConduct insurance coverage investigationsPrepare and maintain damage summaries, including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damageAssist with discovery responses, subpoenas, and litigation deadlinesCoordinate with courts, opposing counsel, clients, and third-party providersPrepare case files for litigation and trial support as neededDraft correspondence and other legal documents related to case managementAssist the attorney with settlement documentation, disbursements, and closing filesPrepare disbursement summaries and manage lien/subrogation resolutionClient & Team CommunicationServe as a primary point of contact for clients and provide consistent updates regarding case statusParticipate in weekly case reporting and monthly team meetingsCollaborate with firmwide team members and provide coverage support when neededAdministrative & Case SupportLog and manage incoming and outgoing mailPrepare check requests, maintain records, and coordinate paymentsMaintain accurate, organized electronic and physical case filesMeet or exceed performance and productivity goalsRequirementsWhat We're Looking ForMinimum of five (5) years of personal injury paralegal experience requiredLitigation experience required; trial preparation experience strongly preferredParalegal certificate preferredBachelor's degree a plusStrong understanding of litigation procedures, deadlines, and legal documentationHigh proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities independentlyThis Role Is Ideal For Someone Who:Has previously supported litigation attorneys in a personal injury practiceIs comfortable being the sole paralegal in an office environmentEnjoys ownership of cases and working with minimal supervisionIs proactive, organized, and confident managing deadlines and client communicationWork EnvironmentThis position operates in a professional office environment with standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
